Books
I have a question for everyone. What book are you reading right now? I'm reading The Voyage of the Dawn Treader to the kids. We'll finish it today and start the next book in the series tomorrow. Whenever we're driving somewhere, I'll read aloud while Rowdy drives and then he wants to hear the rest of the book because he got interested in it! It's a lot of fun.

I'm not reading anything at the moment, however, I just finish Eragon by Christopher Paolini. I LOVED IT. It was so good. I don't think it would be good for the kids, though, even if it is geared toward teens and preteens.
This evening I have been reading a book I got off of Project Gutenberg: The Life and Letters of Elizabeth Prentiss Author of "Stepping Heavenward"

This is Ni. I don't know how to change this to Thimble, so I will just type a quickie and get Allie to help me tomorrow. Allie and I are reading another of Isabella Alden's books. This one is Julia Ried.We started on I. Alden because of the name of one book--Ester Ried. Although the spelling wasn't like our dear friend Esther, it piqued our interest and we were away! Such good books, well-written and we think possibly based on real people. Question, LadyKyria: Is George Prentiss a descendant of Eliz. P?
